How to Notify Your Blackberry When You Receive a Meeting Notification in Exchange Calendar Using Outlook 2007 for Windows

1. Under Mail option (not Calendar). Select Tools, then Rules and Alerts …

2. Click on the New Rule… tab.

3. Highlight Check messages when they arrive, then click Next.

4. Check which is a meeting invitation or update, then click Next.

5. Check forward it to people or distribution list, then click on the people or distribution list link at Step 2.

6. Select Name only radio button. Enter the Blackberry email address in the To field, then click OK.

7. Verify the information. Click Next.

8. Do not enter anything for the exception. Click Next.

9. Create a name easy to remember. Check Turn on this rule, then click Finish.

10. The new rule is now active. NOTE: This rule is not considered as a client-only rule, so once this rule is established, it will be active until the user suspends or deletes it. This is different from the auto CC meeting to self rule, which needs to be set on every PC the user runs Outlook on.

11. Click OK to close the dialogue window.
