1) Open Sharing preferences (Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Sharing).
2) Select Screen Sharing (If Remote Management is selected, deselect it before you select Screen Sharing.)
3) In “Allow Access” set access as necessary by choosing “Administrators” or specifying a specific user that can remotely control the Mac
4) Make a note of the Macs IP address, that is what you will be connecting to
Press Command+K or pull down the “Go” menu from the Finder and bring up “Connect To Server”
1) Enter the IP address of the Mac you want to connect to prefixed with vnc:// ( this was collected from the Screen Sharing section as setup on your remote Mac.
2) Click Connect
3) Enter Username and Password
4) Click Connect
Press Command+K or pull down the “Go” menu from the Finder and bring up “Connect To Server”
