(The application is available from the App Store and is a free download)
Once installed you will need to add a connection and configure the VPN server settings. You will be prompted for notification permissions (either selection does not affect the function of the VPN client).
You will now be prompted to enter the VPN server address; please enter vpn.cc.umanitoba.ca and click Submit.
You will now be prompted for the connection details; the URL will be completed and you can provide your own unique connection name. Once entered click on Save.
You will now be prompted to make changes to the iOS VPN settings (this allows you to start a VPN connection from the iOS settings menu). If you select Allow you will be prompted for your device security PIN.
Your connection has now been added and is ready to connect.
When you connect to the UofM-VPN you will be prompted to accept the terms of use agreement.
When you click proceed you will now need to enter your username, password and select a realm. Click Sign In.
Check your device. Click Approve
Once authenticated you are now connected to the UofM-VPN.
