2014 SPCUAL Dr. Louis Kriesberg

Dr. Louis Kriesberg is Maxwell Professor Emeritus of Social Conflict Studies at Syracuse University. In 1986, he established the Program on the Analysis and Resolutions of Conflict at Syracuse University, and served as its director until1994. Among his more than 160 publications is Constructive Conflicts: From Escalation to Resolution, fourth edition, co-authored with Dr. Bruce Dayton (2012). Dr. Kriesberg has articulated a constructive approach to waging and transforming difficult international and civil conflicts. He was a founding member of the Syracuse Area Middle East Dialogue Group.
