Support For Community Research
What We Offer To The Community

Do you have a great community research project idea related to the issue of violence against women? Or would you like to design strategies for action based on research?  We can help!

RESOLVE offers support to community-based organizations to:

  • Start a collaborative community-based research project,
  • Conduct research that will inform programming and policies,
  • Disseminate research results,
  • Put research outcomes into action at the community or organizational level.

Community organizations may contract with RESOLVE for support in various research related aspects of their project from needs assessment to implementation to evaluation.  RESOLVE keeps an up-to-date list of possible funding opportunities that you may want to consider to provide financing for your project.  These funders typically are amenable to having an expense in your budget for payment of contractors to do some of the work required in your project activities.  RESOLVE can be contracted to do work on the project related to:

Literature Review
Community/Client Needs Assessment Program Design
Policy Analysis
Organizational Development

RESOLVE is happy to assist you in planning your project, filling out your funding applications, as well as finding other possible partners. For more information or to express an interest in working with RESOLVE contact Kendra Nixon, Director, RESOLVE Manitoba 204-474-9292;
