A READING BY NICOLE BROSSARD
The Centre for Creative Writing and Oral Culture and the
Department of English, Film and Theatre are pleased to present a reading by Montreal poet, novelist, essayist and
critic NICOLE BROSSARD.
In addition to publishing over 30 books
including poetry collections and numerous novels, Nicole is co-founder of two
Quebec based literary journals, La Barre
du Jour and La Nouvelle Barre du Jour.
Her work has earned her two Governor General's Awards for poetry, as well as le
Prix Athanase-David and the Canada Council's Molson Prize.
The reading takes place on Monday, February 24th from
11:30am -12:30pm in the Cross Common Room, 108 St. John’s College,
University of Manitoba Fort Garry Campus.
