David Babb
David Babb is a PhD candidate at the Centre for Earth Observation Science at the University of Manitoba. His research focus has been on the Beaufort Sea where he continues to do research on changes in the ice pack, seasonal preconditioning and sea ice dynamics. He also conducts research on ice-ocean interactions in the fjiords of Northeast Greenland, climate change and marine-freshwater coupling in Hudson Bay, controlled sea experiments in CEOS' cold labs and SERF facility ultimately apply this knowledge to better understanding of changes to the Arctic ice pack and implications for marine transportation in the Canadian Arctic.
