Faculty Specialist: Experiential Learning
Cheryl is a Faculty Specialist with a focus on Experiential Learning. She provides support to faculty and staff around experiential learning through one-on-one consultations and collaborating with programs. She also delivers workshop for developing EL and critical reflections.
Cheryl has experience in curriculum redesign and program accreditation. She provides support to programs and faculty working through program reviews and curriculum renewal.
Cheryl began with the University of Manitoba in 2009, teaching in the College of Nursing Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor Post Registered Nurse, and Masters Nurse Practitioner programs. She held roles as the Director, of the Nurse Practitioner and Director, Curriculum Integrity and Faculty Development. She had led numerous program accreditations at the provincial and national levels and worked with the undergraduate and graduate programs curriculum redesign. Cheryl has led projects in simulation and interprofessional practice. She continues to support the Nurse Practitioner Program as an educator and nurse practitioner.
