University of Manitoba - Office of the President - Respect - Community Standards
Community Standards
Community standards are a model of acceptable conduct, which states values and provides a set of guidelines for participation in the community.  It is important that any expression of community standards be developed through an extensive consultation open to all members of the community.  The University of Manitoba's President's Advisory Committee on Respect cares about what you have to say.  We want to hear directly from you how you expect to be treated when you work or study at the U of M.  The resulting standard will focus equally on students, staff and faculty members, examining all aspects of the University and identifying ways in which we can be a strong community that respects the worth of all individuals, promotes a culture of inclusion and diversity, and values the opinions, ideas and backgrounds of all community members.
