Leadership Award Information

Effective leaders engage colleagues in ways that promote a common understanding of the team’s, unit’s and university’s mission and goals. These leaders also inspire creative and collaborative work. 

Criteria

  • Demonstrated leadership in supporting movement towards strategic objectives
  • Been an employee for at least 2 years
  • Did not receive award in past.

Key areas: leadership style, initiatives, and impact.

Scoring: Applications will be reviewed and scored based on demonstrated impact and behaviours that highlight how nominee demonstrated leadership in supporting strategic objectives. Focus will be on specific examples of nominee’s contributions and supporting outcomes, metrics, and demonstrated impacts.
