What does a Student Fundraiser do?
Student Fundraisers work on campus in the University of Manitoba Call Centre. You will be calling U of M alumni (graduates) to provide campus and faculty updates, as well as ask for a monetary donation to our university. You’ll make new friends and develop marketable skills while making a difference for the university!
When are the shifts?
Calling shifts are Sunday afternoons from 2:00pm - 5:30pm, and Monday to Thursday evenings from 6:00pm - 9:30pm. You never have to work Fridays or Saturdays, and working is optional during the final exam period and Reading Week.
How often do I have to work?
All student fundraisers are required to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week. Of course, if you’d like to work more often, you can! In fact, working 3 or more shifts each week will earn you a bonus on your hourly wage!
