Long Night Against Procrastination
What?

Evening events providing a study and writing space for students at a critical point in the semester. Reference librarians and writing tutors will be available to work with students on their papers. Snacks will be provided. 

Where? Elizabeth Dafoe Library | Migizii Agamik | Sciences and Technology Library
When?

Monday November 27 – Thursday November 30, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Who? An event for all students, organized by the Libraries and Migizii Agamik, in partnership with the Academic Learning Centre and sponsored by UMSU
How? Advanced registration not required. Drop in at any of the three locations for a supportive study space.  
Why? Inspired by the first Long Night Against Procrastination was held at the European University Viadrina, Germany in 2010 as a way of supporting students academically. This is the ninth event at the University of Manitoba and first Student Nights Against Procrastination to be hosted across several days and locations as a way of having more space to support students during this stressful time.

Need help finding the best resources to support your paper? Meet with someone at the library service desk to discuss your research. Interested in feedback on your writing? Sign up to meet with a writing tutor. Need to take a break? Join one of the break activities like yoga.

UMSU will provide snacks throughout the evening.

Elizabeth Dafoe and Science and Technology Libraries will stay open until 1 am.
