In order to provide quality services and resources the LAC:

• Develops programming intended to enhance lifelong learning and foster student independence.
• Is committed to providing timely and appropriate resources and services to a diverse student body with varied needs.
• Recognizes the increasing student reliance on electronic media and is committed to using technology to maximize its ability to meet this need.
• Believes it is important to remain current in and contribute to research on learning.
• Values staff that has education and experience in key areas including postsecondary education, curriculum development, EAL/SLA, Adult education and disabilities.
