Russell Building

Although this modestly sized library is found in the Architecture building, students from all disciplines are welcome to use it. This space has study tables and four individual carrels on the main floor, and there are four additional study tables in the basement. This space is well equipped as it has 11 computers, 2 scanners, 1 black/white printer, 1 color printer and 2 black/white copiers. Food and drink (except water) is not allowed in this library. The noise-level for this space is a low murmur; while students are allowed to chat they expected to respect those around them.

This space is ideal for students who are looking for a peaceful place to study that is not as strict as some of the quiet-zones on campus. It would be a perfect place for students conducting research or writing papers, given the printing and copying facilities found here. This space is ill suited to students who enjoy casual conversation as they study and those who are tasked with group work.
