Academic Integrity Week is an annual event hosted by Student Advocacy that involves a week-long focus on academic integrity issues.  Activities and events are planned to promote awareness and to provide information to all members of the university community.  The 12th annual Academic Integrity Week was held October 27 – 31, 2008.

On October 29th, Student Advocacy hosted our first game show,”Academic Integrity: How well do YOU know the rules?”.  Our goal was to promote Academic Integrity to students in a fun and engaging way.  Our four contestants, along with the audience, had great fun while learning some valuable information.   Our hostess, Candace Heyliger, did a great job entertaining the crowd during the show.

Gregg, Laine, Loralynn, and Kaeri, all U1 students, received $25 each in gift certificates for Tim Hortons, generously donated by Student Services.  Loralynn, our grand prize winner also received a fantastic prize package from UMSU which included $20 in gift certificates for Degrees, $20 in gift certificates for IQ’s, a clipboard, t-shirt and travel mug.
