Student Advocacy Volunteer Opportunity – Academic Integrity Ambassadors

Are you looking for leadership experience? Want the chance to plan events and initiatives at the U of M?

The Student Advocacy office is seeking to fill four Academic Integrity Ambassador positions:

  • Promotion & Marketing
  • Event Planning & Coordination
  • Outreach & Student Liaison
  • Educational Programming

What is the Academic Integrity Ambassador (AIA) program? The AIA is a student leadership program aimed at promoting academic integrity through student-led initiatives.

What does an Academic Integrity Ambassador do? Ambassadors will develop strategies and materials for marketing and promotion of academic integrity at the U of M, create/deliver workshops and presentations, plan and coordinate events, and liaise with departments, faculties, and students to determine academic integrity challenges and needs.

Why be an Academic Integrity Ambassador?

  • Gain valuable career skills and experience in areas such as public speaking, marketing, networking and event coordination.
  • Receive credit on your Co-Curricular Record.
  • Make connections with U of M staff and students.
  • Learn about U of M policies and procedures related to academic integrity, shadow a Student Advocate, and work closely with a student support unit on campus.
