Welcome to the Academic Integrity and Student Conduct Tutorial. As a member of the university community, you are expected to demonstrate behaviour that upholds academic integrity and is appropriate and respectful.. There are policies and procedures that outline these expectations and provide information about students' rights and responsibilities.

Tests and Exams

Quizzes, midterm tests and final exams are a major part of evaluation at the University of Manitoba. Information will be provided about student responsibilities in test and exam settings.

Plagiarism

Essays and Research papers are very common student assignments at the University of Manitoba. We will help you understand the importance of citing and referencing your source material.

Inappropriate Collaboration

Collaborating in pairs and groups with other students can be a great way to study. Some assignments require group work, and other assignments must be completed individually. We will help you understand how to know the difference, and how to avoid inappropriate collaboration.
