STEP 1
Consult the Registration section in the Undergraduate or Graduate Calendar
Due to the introduction of Aurora Student, it is important that you check your faculty or school section for registration procedures specific to your program.
STEP 2
Obtain, where necessary, approval for your courses or program from the dean, director, or other faculty/school representative.
STEP 3
Prepare your timetable. See: Choose Your Courses for information on how to find courses in the Catalog and Schedule.
STEP 4
Use Aurora Student to register in the courses you have selected. See: Register for courses for more specific information.
STEP 5
Use Aurora Student to obtain a fee assessment, you will not be sent a statement in the mail. See: Fee Information to learn more…
STEP 6
Pay your fees.
STEP 7
Obtain a student photo identification card.
STEP 8
Obtain your U of M email account.
Aurora Student – The University of Manitoba’s new student information system
Aurora Student is part of a complete renewal of The University of Manitoba’s administrative information systems, including Admissions, Student Records, Human Resources and Finance. These projects implement new technology that supports one-stop shopping on the web for students, faculty and staff and takes the university from the mainframe system to relational databases and client/server architecture.
Aurora Student provides U of M students with access to online registration, account information, T2202A tax receipts, final grades, and personal information.
When using Aurora Student click the Help link at the top right of any page for online help. For further information and additional help, click on AskUManitoba.
