Winter Orientation will take place on Friday, January 4, 2019 for domestic undergraduate students.
Winter Orientation introduces new students starting in the Winter Term to the U of M Fort Garry campus. The day prepares you for university life with academic sessions and workshops, and provides a fun opportunity to meet fellow students! Undergraduate students are grouped according to their faculty.
Registration is now closed, however, you can still attend! Please arrive at 200 Education on January 4, 2019. Check-in runs from 10:00 - 10:30am.
If you are an International Student, please contact the International Centre for information about a Late Orientation.

Do I need to watch the Online Orientation videos, and attend the in-person Orientation?
Yes! The Online Orientation series of videos, and the in-person sessions and events are designed to complement each other, not replace each other. Both have important information, tips and resources to start you off with success.
What if I have questions over the winter break when the university is closed?
We understand that you may have some questions about what to expect over the winter break. This website has been updated with a schedule and all the details you'll need for January 4, 2019. Also, the university will open on January 3, 2019, so you are welcome to call with any questions. Given the short turnaround time, calling is preferred over email to ensure a response.
