Registering Online

Follow these steps to complete your registration online

  1. Log into Aurora Student at aurora.umanitoba.ca
  2. Enter your 7 digit student number found on the top right-hand corner of your Certificate of Acceptance to gain access
  3. Your temporary PIN (personal identification number) is your date of birth (YYMMDD).  You will be required to change your PIN to any six-digit number you want-don’t lose or forget your new PIN as you will need it to access your confidential student information.

To find out your registration date, log into Aurora Student at aurora.umanitoba.ca starting July 9, 2012, select “Enrolment and Academic Records” then “Registration”, and then click on “Registration Time and Status”.  You will be assigned an access time for beginning your registration based on your final high school grades.  You then have access to register for courses as long as the system is open.

  1. Follow the online process to complete your registration.  New students can begin online registration on a specific date during the week of July 16.

NEED TO KNOW: It is important to register for both Fall term and Winter term courses during your initial registration time to ensure the best course availability.

Having trouble registering?  University 1 students should contact the U1 Student Help Centre while all other students should contact their direct entry faculty office.
