On behalf of the UMMA Executive, we want to wish all of our members and corporate partners a safe and happy holiday season! As 2006 comes to a close, we are excited for the prospects of 2007 and all the benefits that will be brought to UMMA members.

The next UMMA meeting is essential to attend! Information regarding the upcoming UMMA Wine & Cheese will be presented, as well as tickets will be distributed to the event (remember to bring $10 for the ticket deposit). Career Services Centre will also give some helpful tips on how to conduct yourself at a wine & cheese. More detailed information can be found in the latest email update from UMMA.

Also of special note, a Resume Book will be put together for all companies in attendance at the Wine & Cheese. Interested students who would like their resume included in this book must submit a copy by January 5th to umma.group@gmail.com.

The UMMA Mentorship Day held on November 23rd, 2006 was a great success! Thank you once again to all the companies that participated and to the UMMA students that hopefully found the mentorship experience rewarding.

Given the success of the first UMMA Mentorship Day, plans are underway to hold another day in the 2nd Term! Stay tuned to this website and future member meetings for more information!

MTS will be holding an exclusive info session on campus this Wednesday, November 29, 2006. MTS will be recruiting MBA and Bachelor of Commerce upcoming grads in Marketing and Finance. All are encouraged to attend to learn about the many great opportunities available!
