What's an UMMA Meeting anyways...

The cornerstone of what UMMA stands for is to bring Asper students together who share a mutual interest for marketing. Through this, UMMA works hard to offer members several opportunities geared specifically to them that they may not receive otherwise. One of the biggest opportunities is attending UMMA meetings.

This year, meetings will occur approximately every 3 weeks, from September to the end of March (special considerations have been given for exam time and holidays). These regular meetings will be fun, informative and engaging. Many of the opportunities open to members throughout the year also get introduced at these meetings.

New for this year is themed member meetings! Each meeting will have a focus around one aspect from the markerting industry; such as marketing research, customer relationship management, advertising, brand management, social marketing, and sales management. As an added bonus, most meetings will showcase a speaker from the marketing community that ties into the meeting theme.

Tentative 2011 Meeting Dates Schedule:

The first UMMA Meeting of the 2011-2012 school year will be held on Tuesday, September 20 at 5:30pm in Room 104 Drake. Can't wait to see everyone.
