Come and meet ASBAA members in our booth. We will be selling membership tickets which are $10.00 for the whole year.
We'll be having a two quick information sessions starting at 2:20 downstairs at 107 Drake. Come and join us!
1st Membership Meeting - September 21, 2011 [ 343 Drake Centre 5:30pm - 7:30pm ]
We will be having a panel discussions with guests & representatives from all three professional designations (CA, CMA, and CGA).
Learn about the differences between the designations and have your questions answered by real professionals.
CA Wine & Cheese - September 29, 2011 [ Manitoba Hydro Building, 360 Portage Avenue, 4:30pm ]
CA firms in Manitoba meet in a casual setting with accounting graduates and students. Students are able to get an idea of each firm represented. A great networking event.
Meet and greet is at 4:30 to 6:30pm.
6th Annual Toronto Trip - November 2 - 5, 2011 [ Toronto, ON ]
Take a trip to Canada's business hub and experience accounting firms there first hand!
In order to participate you must have completed ACC 1100 and ACC 1110 with a grade of C+ and must be enrolled in one of the courses that comprises the accounting major (ACC 2030, etc).
Deadline to submit your application is September 30, 2011.

CMA Industry Night - January 25, 2012 [ Golf Dome, 1205 Wilkes Ave, 6:00 to 8:00pm ]
CMA Networking event that will allow students to meet and interact with recent CMA graduates from companies in a casual and relaxed environment.
Food and drinks while playing virtual golf and billiards with some of our invited guests
Tickets are $10 for ASBAA Members; however, your attendance to the event entitles you to a full refund. Your refund will be reimbursed at the event upon your registration at the doors.

Show off Your Assets Social - January 28, 2012 [ Area Night Club ]
This year's Show Off Your Assets social will be at the Area Nightclub.
Ticket price is $5. Tickets are also sold at the fish bowl on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
