VOLUNTEER AT OPEN HOUSE 2017!
Are you a current University of Manitoba student looking to earn volunteer experience and get involved in an exciting new leadership opportunity? The University of Manitoba is seeking volunteers to assist with Open House 2017. Volunteers will work with high school students, families and school groups, accompanying them to activities around campus and acting as ambassadors on behalf of the University of Manitoba.
Volunteer responsibilities include:

In addition to earning valuable new skills and volunteer experience, event day volunteers will be treated to a free lunch and will be entered into a draw for a chance to win great prizes!
HOW TO APPLY FOR A VOLUNTEER POSITON:
Students must be members of UMVP, the University of Manitoba Volunteer Program, in order to volunteer at Open House 2017. UMVP offers a variety of benefits to members, including the ability to track your service hours and earn a notation on your co-curricular record.
If you have yet to apply to UMVP:
Sign up for UMVP by Friday, January 27, 2016. You will be invited to participate in an interview. Upon acceptance to the UMVP program, you will be prompted to sign up for your Open House volunteer shift. Click here to sign up for UMVP. Instructions can be found on the UMVP website.
