Cooperative Education and Internship Programs

Co-operative education is a partnership between the university, employers and students, whereby students complement their academic study with paid work experience in their field of study. Students graduate with full academic credit, and valuable professional work experience.

The University of Manitoba offers co-op and internship options in the following faculties. Work terms can vary in length from 4 to 16 months, depending on the program. As well, the process to hire co-op or internship students varies between programs. For more information on the programs and how to hire a student, please contact the specific coordinator(s) for the programs you are interested in.
