Minnesota Student Day

This event has passed and registration is now closed. However, we are coming to you! Meet with the University of Manitoba at the Consulate General of Canada in Minneapolis. Our presentation will overview the benefits of studying in Canada, the Minnesota/Manitoba reciprocity agreement, the student experience, admission requirements, and more. For more information or to register, please visit the Campus Tours webpage.

The University of Manitoba offers a special day of campus tours for Minnesota families on the third Friday of every October to tie in with the MEA school break. Join us on campus to learn more about the university and important information for US applicants.

Students can sign up for either a morning (10:00am) or afternoon (2:00pm) session. Parents, family and friends are also welcome. Each session is approximately 2.5 hours in length. Space is limited, so register early if you plan to attend.

Some of the information we cover during each session includes:

  • How to apply for admission
  • Important dates and deadlines
  • Scholarships and awards
  • The Minnesota Reciprocity Agreement
  • Campus tour focusing on supports and services for new students
  • Living on campus and student residences
