Interested in visiting the University of Manitoba? Take a campus tour or attend one of our special events to learn more about the university, our programs and services, and the social and recreational opportunities available to our students.
Campus tours are available for students most Fridays at 10:00am or 2:00pm. Parents, family, and friends are welcome. Tours are approximately 90 minutes in length and include the buildings and services of most relevance to new or incoming university students. Minnesota Student Day - Friday, October 21, 2016
Held annually on the third Friday of October to correspond with the MEA school break, Minnesota Student Day allows students and families from Minnesota to tour the U of M campus and learn about US admission requirements, the application process, on-campus residence, and more. Choose from morning or afternoon sessions.
Evening of Excellence - Tuesday, October 25, 2016
Held annually in late October, this evening open house is for high-achieving Grade 11 & Grade 12 students who excel in the classroom, in the community, or as athletes on the field. Parents are also welcome! Visit dozens of booths and exhibits spotlighting U of M programs and services, meet one-on-one with current U of M students and staff to learn more about your study interests, or attend presentations and tours focused on scholarships and awards, the application process, and the student experience.

Experience a day in the life of a university student! Held annually in mid-February, our annual campus-wide open house is a great opportunity for school groups, students, and families to explore campus. You choose what you want to attend from our schedule of presentations, tours, and activities: attend sample university lectures, tour different buildings around campus, or get active in our recreation facilities. Learn more about the subjects that interest you by attending faculty presentations or meet one on one with staff and current students in our information village.
