The application process is currently on hold. Please check back for updates.

The University of Manitoba is proud to have many strong recruitment partnerships around the world to help international students realize their educational goals. At this time, UM is seeking a very limited number of new partnerships; as such, please find below the detailed process in which to apply to be one of our approved partners. Please read the instructions carefully and complete all sections fully, completely, honestly and thoughtfully.

Step 1: Expression of interest

Please complete this form to express your interest in partnering with the University of Manitoba. Upon an internal review, should your initial inquiry be accepted, a full application will be made available. Should this initial expression of interest not be approved, the agency will be informed that they are not selected to proceed with the application process.

Step 2: Agent application form

A thorough completion of the application form is required. Upon submission, the UM Agent Selection Committee will review the application. Should the application be approved at Step 2, references will be contacted. In the event that the application is not approved, the agency will be informed that they are not selected to proceed with the process.

Step 3: Reference check

Three references from the agency's current university partners, preferably from Canada, will be contacted to complete a reference form. Upon receipt of all references, the UM Agent Selection Committee will review the references. Should the application package and references be deemed satisfactory by the committee, the agency will be issued a contract. Should the application not be approved, the agency will be informed that they are not selected to proceed with the process.

Should you have any questions about the agency application process, please contact Lisa Kachulak-Babey, Associate Registrar & Director of Student Recruitment at lisa.kachulak@umanitoba.ca.
