UPDATE: (November 21, 2016): STRIKE OVER Classes resume November 22; U of M and UMFA reach agreement

The University of Manitoba and the University of Manitoba Faculty Association (UMFA) have reached an agreement. As of November 22, all classes are running at their usual days and times.

Over the coming days and weeks, this website will continue to be updated with new information. Please use the buttons to the right for frequently asked questions and updates, and check back regularly as information is being updated as it becomes available.

The University’s social media accounts - @umanitoba on Facebook and Twitter – are also good sources of up-to-the-minute news and information.

NOTE: The December 2016 holiday break will proceed as originally planned. The University will be closed from December 23, 2016 to January 2, 2017.
