U of M - Faculty and Staff - Faculty Recruitment - New Faculty Orientation

New Faculty Orientation

The New Faculty Orientation is our way of helping new faculty to launch their careers at the University.  The various sessions organized over a two-day period are designed to provide new faculty with the information and resources that they will need to get started and have a successful career at the University of Manitoba.  The New Faculty Orientation is organized by the University Teaching Services, in association with the Office of the Vice-Provost (Academic Affairs).

New Faculty Orientation is held in July each year.  The 2012 New Faculty Orientation will be held on July 11 and 12.  Please contact Paula Chorney, Assistant to the Vice-Provost (Academic Affairs) at paula_chorney@umanitoba.ca  for more information.

Get Connected - New Faculty Events

New faculty members tell us that they want to stay in touch with the people they have met at New Faculty Orientation.  The Office of the Vice-Provost (Academic Affairs) will be hosting a New Faculty reception in February, 2012 for those new faculty who attended New Faculty Orientation in July, 2011.  Please contact Paula Chorney at paula_chorney@umanitoba.ca for more information.
