Statistical Consulting Service: Rates

For university clients, the charge is $75 per hour. However, for unfunded graduate students, limited assistance is available at a charge of $35 per hour. Charges for larger projects may be negotiated.

The charge for external clients is $100 per hour. Contracts and project rates may be negotiated. We recommend the inclusion of statistical advisory charges in those research proposals requiring substantial statistical assistance.

Please note: Clients who miss an appointment or who cancel an appointment with fewer than 24 hours notice will be charged.

The primary use of consulting fees is to support the salaries of our consultants, including graduate students. Funds generated also contribute toward the payment of operating and miscellaneous expenses. Faculty members are not paid from the funds.
