Dr. Ken Stewart Scholarship in Aquatic Biology and Conservation Sponsored by Fish Futures Inc.

Roger Evans Memorial scholarship

Freshwater Institute Silver Anniversary Funds

Value: Determined by selection committee

Details: Awarded to university of Manitoba graduate students, who have supervisors at the Freshwater Institute, to attend conferences or to travel to other facilities for training.

Ileen Stewart Memorial Award

Deadline: At the deadline for U of M bursary applications

Details: Awarded to any full time graduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and demonstrated financial need based on standard U of M bursary application form.

Dr. Michael Bruser Memorial bursary

Value: $600

Details: Available to students currently registered in 4th year of higher in Botany or Zoology, active in Biological or ecological studies with an interest in preservation and conservation of flora and fauna.

Manitoba Naturalists Society Scholarship

Value: $500

Details: Awarded to a student who has graduated from a university in Manitoba and who, in the following September either enters or continues with a graduate program in Biological Sciences.

Oakes-Riewe Aboriginal Environmental; Studies Research Award

Value: $500 to $5000

Details: Awarded to a graduate student who is conducting interdisciplinary environmental research (integration of physical, biological, and human processes) within an aboriginal context. Application available in the C.H. Ridell Faculty of Environment.

Manitoba Horticulturists Graduate Scholarship

Details: For a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who has completed one year of a master's or PhD program, is continuing into second year, and has demonstrated achievement in horticulture research applicable to the Canadian prairies (applications through Plant Science)

Leon Provancher Prize in Systematic Zoology
