The School of Art Orientation is mandatory - it's not only the opportunity to meet the people who will guide you through your art education but also the chance to ask important questions.
The School of Art works with University 1 to ensure a great start in your post-secondary endeavours by arranging specific School of Art events within Orientation. This event involves over 3,500 students as well as 400 staff and volunteers, making it the largest university event of the year!
Orientation 2013 is on September 3 and 4. Orientation is action packed with Homeroom Sessions, Academic Sessions, Campus Tours, the Student Resource Festival, entertainment, and lots of free stuff! Throughout the two days, you will have the opportunity to become familiar with the campus, get a jump start on study skills, and most of all, meet some of your new peers!
All art students' schedules for the two days of Orientation are the same. Your day will begin with a Homeroom Session in ARTlab on Tuesday, September 3, with the mandatory School of Art session in the afternoon.
