Roland Lavallée’s educational and clinical experience

  • Roland’s clinical practice spans 36 years (2019) as a licensed bilingual Métis physiotherapist in Manitoba. (B MRPT 1983 – University of Manitoba).  In 1989 he earned his FCAMPT through the National Orthopaedic Division’s (NOD-CPA) community system. He has been an Examiner since 2005 and in the summer of 2017 was appointed as a Chief Examiner. He holds a faculty appointment with the University of Manitoba’s College of Rehabilitation Sciences. He acts as Chair of Admissions for the Department of Physical Therapy. Has been teaching post-graduate NOD physiotherapy courses in Manitoba and parts of Canada since the late 1980’s.  He earned a Clinical Masters in Physical Therapy – Manipulative Physiotherapy (MClSc) University of Western Ontario in 2010.

Académique: Baccalauréat en réadaptation médicale (BMRPT) Université du Manitoba 1983 et Maîtrise en sciences cliniques en physiothérapie- Physiothérapie manuelle orthopédique (M.Sc.Cl.) Université Western Ontario (2010).  Détient actuellement une nomination au sein du corps professoral du College des sciences de la réadaption – Physiothérapie de l’Université du Manitoba.  Il est président du comité d’Admission pour le département de Thérapie Physique.   Service: En 2005 nommé examinateur à la Division d’orthopédie et un Chef examinateur en 2017.
