You are to request this letter before departure from your home country. The letter will be emailed directly to your UM student email.

Certificate of enrolment for on-campus study

Upon request, the Registrar’s Office will prepare a certificate of enrolment for on-campus study letter for undergraduate international students.  The document is $11.75 and can take five business days to prepare.

Where to send your request

Request forms and the required documentation are to be sent to the Registrar's Office email at Registrar.Office@umanitoba.ca

Documentation required

Students are to provide flight information, if available at the time of request. Ensure your flight information includes the following information:

  • Airline and invoice/ receipt number
  • Passenger and ticket information
  • Travel information, such as departure and arrival date

If your flight information is not available, indicate your expected departure date from your home country and your expected arrival date to Canada.

What the letter includes

This document is prepared on UM letterhead.  Included information will be documented as it exists in Aurora on the date that the letter is ordered. It will reflect your current program and enrolment information.

The following student information is also included in the letter:

  • Your name
  • Student number
  • Current registration status
  • Name of institution 
  • Level of study
  • Current program information
  • Full- or part-time status
  • List of on-campus courses
  • Registrar's Stamp and signature
