Homecoming 2013

As University of Manitoba alumni, many of you have a special connection to this place and our people.

Homecoming is a time to celebrate those connections.

Over the years, graduates have shared many fond memories of their university experience with me. I’ve talked with couples who can pinpoint the exact place and date where they met and fell in love while attending this university.  Others have memories of respect and admiration for professors who set high standards for their students and succeeded in getting the very best out of them.

Whether your memories are of an academic experience, a cause you supported after learning about it on campus, life-long friendships you made as a student, or your service on a student council, they shape who you are today.

The theme of Homecoming 2013, I Remember When, celebrates those special memories. I hope you can join us to celebrate your memories and salute our indomitable spirit at the University of Manitoba.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Homecoming 2012!
Our campus photography team captured wonderful moments from throughout the week and they are now posted to our flickr gallery.
As well, local lensman Ian McCausland captured souvenir 'photo booth' images from the Isbister Legacy Society Luncheon and the Homecoming Dinner. Both are available for viewing, ordering via the links below.
