  Student Parking Permit Trading

Sometimes new parking spaces open up in student lots.
Sometimes students give up their parking permits.
And sometimes students want to try and trade their existing parking assignment for a different lot.

If and when new spaces become available, we will post an announcement on this website and let you know when you can visit us at the Welcome Centre for a chance to trade your current parking pass for a different parking lot.

No Permits are currently available for trade

Conditions for trading your Student Parking Permit:

  • Permit trading can only be done in person by the owner of the permit - at the Welcome Centre - on the date specified
  • All trades are conducted on a first-come-first-served basis
  • No trades will be allowed via telephone or Internet

Student parking during weekdays will be available throughout Summer Session 2011 by permit only.  Students must be registered in Summer Session 2011 to be eligible to purchase Summer Session permits.  Summer Session permits are valid in any regular student parking area.

Parking on campus after 4:30pm is free of charge and no permit is required, with the exception of the following:

  • 24 hour reserved zones
  • Loading zones
  • Fire lanes and driveways
  • “No Parking” areas
  • Accessible areas (a university accessible parking permit must be displayed on weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.)
  • Evenings after 4:30pm and weekends in “N” Lot
The fee per session for a Summer Session Student Parking Permit is $55.00 plus GST.
