Camp Details

  • Science camps, held in communities throughout Manitoba
    • 1 week of camp activities;
    • this is a day camp only; no overnight accommodation is provided
    • camp runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM pick-up/drop off times)
    • campers bring their own lunch
  • 40 campers, 10:1 camper to instructor ratio
  • Camp open to children finishing grades 4, 5 & 6
  • Indoor and outdoor activities
  • All hands on activities
  • Emphasis on inventing, designing and exploring
  • Daily science and engineering themes
  • Volunteer experience available for local high school students
  • FUN, LEARNING and EXPLORING - ALL DAY, EVERYDAY
  • Cost: Cost is location dependent - $194 unless stated otherwise
  • Staff are University of Manitoba Science and Engineering Students
    • staff are trained in First Aid, CPR, and WHMIS
  • All campers and junior instructors will receive a camp t-shirt
  • A newsletter will be sent home to parents at the beginning of each week of camp
