Camp Details
- Science camps, held in communities throughout Manitoba
- 1 week of camp activities;
- this is a day camp only; no overnight accommodation is provided
- camp runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM pick-up/drop off times)
- campers bring their own lunch
- 40 campers, 10:1 camper to instructor ratio
- Camp open to children finishing grades 4, 5 & 6
- Indoor and outdoor activities
- All hands on activities
- Emphasis on inventing, designing and exploring
- Daily science and engineering themes
- Volunteer experience available for local high school students
- FUN, LEARNING and EXPLORING - ALL DAY, EVERYDAY
- Cost: Cost is location dependent - $194 unless stated otherwise
- Staff are University of Manitoba Science and Engineering Students
- staff are trained in First Aid, CPR, and WHMIS
- All campers and junior instructors will receive a camp t-shirt
- A newsletter will be sent home to parents at the beginning of each week of camp
