About UNEVOC Canada

Dissemination Strategy

The capacity of the UNEVOC - Canada to disseminate research findings and best practices in technical and vocational education resides in the support given to the network by the University of Manitoba Libraries and Computer Services. The University of Manitoba Libraries will establish a Clearinghouse for Technical and Vocational Education.

The network dissemination strategy will be geared to communicate research results to academic and non-academic audiences both within and outside the network. Specific dissemination strategies will include workshops, multimedia presentations, publications, online databases, electronic Research Bulletin Board and cyberspace interactions on the information highway: WWW, ftp sites, listservs and online conferences. A one page Project Brief and periodic/occasional Project Update will be developed (for each project) and distributed widely both in print and electronically. Research reports will be disseminated in three formats: (1) Technical Reports, monographs and books; (2) Practitioner Action Reports; and, (3) Research Abstracts. We will also contribute to any existing data bases at the UNEVOC Implementation Unit in Bonn, Germany.
