About UNEVOC Canada

Responsibilities of UNEVOC - Canada

The main responsibilities of the UNEVOC Centres include:

  • develop and lead a national network;
  • ensure information flow to and from UNESCO and other UNEVOC Centres;
  • ensure that expertise is shared among UNEVOC Network members;
  • provide research as requested by the UNESCO Secretariat;
  • contribute to UNESCO publications and data bases and update the data of the UNEVOC Directory with information on all UNEVOC Centres and other relevant institutions.

The Canada UNEVOC Centre will play an advocacy role for technical and vocational education and will provide opportunities for Canadians to achieve and assume leadership in the field, both nationally and internationally.
