What
is the LiNKd.org about?
The LiNKd (Linked Information Networks
for Kids with disabilities).org website grew out
of a Health Canada pilot project (see 'Our History').
Our
current efforts are directed towards:
- Continuing
the development of the www.linkd.org web site which has proven
to be a valuable resource for families and health care providers
involved in the care of children with disabilities,
- Assisting
individuals and organizations in developing a web presence to
share their knowledge and expertise,
- Monitoring
in the use of electronic resources and the diverse applications
of technology for children with disabilities),
- Promoting
the concept of care coordination using electronic resources
for children with disabilities,
- Fostering
the use of telehealth technology for assessment, consultation,
teaching and continuing education for health care providers.
