The Linguistic Circle of Manitoba and North Dakota invites proposals for 15-minute papers or 90-minute panels for the 50th Meeting of  the LCMND. Papers selected by review process will be published as a collection marking the occasion. Conference languages: French and English. Print version.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 30, 2007

The 50th meeting of the Linguistic Circle of Manitoba & North Dakota will be held at the North Dakota State University, ND.
Proposals*** for papers, accompanied by an abstract of up to three pages suitable for publication in the LCMND Proceedings, may be sent to any of the LCMND officers listed below, but in particular, to 2007 Joint President DALE SULLIVAN.
***Only members in good standing may present a paper at the conference. If your current dues have not yet been paid, please send them to an LCMND Officer as soon as possible, along with your membership information solicited on the form below.

The program normally includes papers on a wide range of literary, cultural, historical, didactic, or linguistic topics. Ideally, presentations are timed to take 20 minutes for delivery, but must not exceed 25 minutes.
Please note that only Members of the Linguistic Circle in good standing (i.e., whose membership dues have been paid) may present papers. To achieve good standing, send a cheque made out to the Linguistic Circle of Manitoba and North Dakota to the Secretary-Treasurer. Include the membership information indicated below.
Confirmation that your proposal has been accepted for the current year's LCMND Program will be sent upon receipt of the annual membership fee. Preregistration forms, information on hotel accommodations & other local arrangements will be provided in a timely manner at this website.
