Call for 2003 Papers

(Proposals & Abstracts to be submitted by September 15, 2003

The 46th meeting of the Linguistic Circle of Manitoba & North Dakota will be held at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND, on Saturday & Sunday, October 18-19, 2003.
Proposals*** for papers, accompanied by an abstract of up to three pages suitable for publication in the LCMND Proceedings, should be sent to one of the LCMND officers listed below, in particular, PRESIDENT ERICKSON, UND, by September 15, 2002.

NOTA BENE: THE USUAL FRIDAY/SATURDAY days for the LCMNMD Annual Conferences has been CHANGED to SATURDAY & SUNDAY!!!

Only members in good standing may present a paper at the conference. If your 2003 dues have not yet been paid, please send them along to LCMND Secretary/Treasurer E. Dawes as soon as possible, with the membership information below.

The Program normally includes papers on a wide range of literary, cultural, historical, didactic, or linguistic topics. Ideally, presentations are timed to take 20 minutes for delivery, but must not exceed 25 minutes.
Please note that only Members of the Linguistic Circle in good standing (i.e., whose membership dues have been paid) may present papers. To achieve good standing, send a cheque made out to the Linguistic Circle of Manitoba and North Dakota to the Secretary-Treasurer. Include the membership information indicated below.
Confirmation that your proposal has been accepted for the 2003 Program will be sent upon receipt of the membership fee. Preregistration forms, information on hotel accommodations & other local arrangements will be provided in a timely manner at this website.
