Malcolm Doupe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine at the University of Manitoba and a Senior Research Scientist with the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy. He received a doctorate in the Department of Community Health Sciences from the University of Manitoba in 2004. Dr. Doupe conducts research in the area of health services utilization and the aging population, investigating risk factors of home care and nursing home use, factors that influence quality care and changes in functional status in nursing homes, and issues related to care continuity for older adults.
