excerpt:
Tiger Threat, written by Sigmund Brouwer, is a book about Vladislav Malininich, a Russian hockey player, and Ray Hockaday, the centre for the Medicine Hat Tigers. It is Ray’s job to look after Vlad while he is in Canada and to teach him about the Canadian way of life, but doing so proves to be a lot more dangerous than what Ray first anticipated. He soon discovers that the Russian Mafia is after Vlad, and it takes all of Ray’s cunning and the help of friends to get them out of a dangerous situation.
