Yesterday, a small company in Winnipeg, based in the University of Manitoba’s Smartpark, provided monitoring kits to restoration contractors responding to flooded basements. The kits, slated for deployments elsewhere in North America, will help the contractors take on the dry-out of more building structures with the same amount of limited labour.
