Join Jan Oleszkiewicz, a world-renowned expert in environmental engineering, to hear about how his groundbreaking research has changed the way wastewater treatment plants are designed around the globe, including here in Winnipeg.

Technologies Oleszkiewicz has developed could potentially save industry and municipalities tens of millions of dollars. He will be speaking Thursday evening about how his research is applied to real-world problems at a public lecture titled: “Cleaning up the Mess: Managing Waste.”

The lecture is in celebration of Oleszkiewicz’s win of the prestigious 2011 Dr. John M. Bowman Memorial Winnipeg Rh Institute Foundation Award.
