More Business Wins for Asper Students

University of Manitoba MBA Candidate Jennifer Robertson and B.Comm. student Rory Bloomfield from CaIR Technologies recently won the Tektronix Trade Show Competition at the NVC Business Plan Competition hosted by the University of Oregon.

The team also finished first in the Lightning Round Competition sponsored by the Oregon Entrepreneurship Network. 

The team’s next stop is the Global Venture Labs Investment Competition at the University of Texas at Austin.

The University of Manitoba’s Asper School of Business  has a world record 46 first-place finishes in business competitions since 1995.

Last year, A2K Technologies, a team comprised of MBA candidate Andrea Legary and Asper student Curtis Leonhardt, competed against 16 teams in the inaugural Alerus Entrepreneurship Challenge hosted by the University of North Dakota and they won all the competition’s awards: Most Innovative Idea, Best Elevator Pitch and Grand Champion.
