Two sessions of the 43rd Fall Convocation at the University of Manitoba will be held on: Wednesday, October 20, 2010 and Thursday, October 21, 2010. Each session will begin at 3:30 pm.This fall, 1,321 graduands are eligible to receive their diplomas at Fall Convocation 2010, in many disciplines including arts, education, management, dentistry and medical rehabilitation. This is the fourth-highest number of fall graduands in history.
During Fall Convocation, honorary degrees for distinguished achievement will be awarded to:
Phil Fontaine, former National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations (Wednesday)
and
Bernard Weiner, distinguished professor of psychology at UCLA (Thursday)
All ceremonies will be held in the Investors Group Gym.
