Seven sessions of the 131st Spring Convocation at the University of Manitoba are scheduled in May and June 2010.
The University of Manitoba will confer degrees, diplomas and certificates on 2,780 graduates during its 2010 Spring Convocation, slightly more than in 2009.
Six individuals will receive honorary degrees throughout the 2010 Spring Convocation. One has already been bestowed at the Faculty of Medicine Convocation on May 13, 2010.
Honorary degrees are awarded for distinguished achievement. Candidates for honorary degrees are nominated by members of the University and the public.
